Crazy Weekend

This weekend didn't go exactly as planned.  Kadence was admitted to the hospital with the croup Friday night and her health and well being trumped all other concerns.  She was released Sunday am and is doing better.  I know exactly what people mean about your heart walking around outside your body when you have children - I think that feeling is magnified with grandchildren!!

Now it is a countdown to Thanksgiving...possibly my favorite holiday of all.  (time to make lists, check them twice, shop and cook)

We had great family time in Estes Park.  Our intent was to see Autumn color in the mountains but getting out of Houston while the power was out from Hurricane Ike was an added bonus!
